"My second time staying here. This is a near-perfect small hotel. Located right in the middle of SLO's wonderfully walkable downtown. My room was very large, with a very generous patio. Excellent shower, excellent bed. The place has the feel of a good place o work, a nice vibe. Restaurant is top-notch, especially for a hotel restaurant. One very small complaint. And this is for all hotel designers everywhere: Leave the lights alone. Use normal switches with rheostats. Don't make me study the...

"It’s decent. Pool was drained. Desk staff was friendly. I only needed a bed and shower, and it was great for that. "

"Went to unlock my room and it wouldn’t open, until two tweakers released the deadbolt and opened the door claiming “the hotel double booked the rooms” before leaving. Not sure how but two people broke into my room before I was able to check into it."

"Half of the stuff in the room frig/microwave was not working due to the plug issues. No plug outlet to charge the computer/phone. No possibility to take bath since the the drain stopper was missing. Very poor conditions with pillows. Will not go back there."

"Staff was friendly, and the hot tub was amazing!! The room wasn’t as clean as it could be and had a lot of things that were falling apart or close to falling apart. "

"The restrooms had less than half a roll of toilet paper each and didn’t have extra, towels were stained with red and brown so we didn’t use them. The power kept going off and the office was closed, we called the number they did answer once but the power kept going out and they stopped answering."

"Quiet property next to a nice walking trail. Friendly staff. Clean room. Stayed for a weekend traveling with family. Nothing but positive things to say. I would not bother searching for other places to stay for future trips to the area. "

"Hotel undergoing renovation. Lobby & other common areas closed off. The shower floor is super slippery. The hotel should provide rubber mats."
