"It is a neat property with a great location right on tje harbor, and in walking distance to many of the restaurants and coffee/ice cream shops, which are very close to the property. It was fun walking around and going to see the gingerbread cottages nearby as well. It was just me staying there, [on a business trip ], so the room was fine for me, but it’s very small overall. The bed was very comfortable. since I called an advance, they let me reserve a parking spot which was basically right across from the property and that was of no charge. If you want to park in back of the property, it’s $50 per night, but I didn’t find that necessary as the area seemed very safe. Cool property, definitely would come back."

"We had a very nice stay at Faraway and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The common areas were well maintained and clean. Staff was all lovely. Parking can be tricky in Edgartown so take a cab if you can but they do provide overflow lots."

"Everything about our stay was fabulous. The suite was well situated with a great view of the ocean. It was nice having 2 bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was great although it was off season. Will definitely try to stay again."

"We made a very last minute reservation when our ferry was canceled due to weather. The person at the desk moved us to the first floor because we had a stroller and got us a pack and play and was just super helpful during a very stressful time. Our room had a full kitchen with full sized fridge, oven, microwave, and was overall clean and exactly what we needed when traveling with a baby. We didn’t get to enjoy the beach because of the weather but it’s super close to the ferry - you can actually see the boat - and to some nice restaurants and cafes. Exceeded expectations!"

"We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was still not ready. We were told that they were under new management as of the day we checked in. They were also not able to provide us with a key upon check-in so when we returned from dinner we had to walk all around the building to the front entrance to get into our room (without a key the other entrances were not accessible). We feel that we should not be charged the additional "facilities fee" for the inconveniences."
