"Great hotel, parking entrance and exit are a bit stressful. Breakfast is good, not sure if there was a possibility to have omelets. I hated the fact that there were no outlets on one side of bed. Gym is quite basic"

"A countryside haven just minutes from Coimbra! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Granja da Cabrita. It offers the perfect balance: you’re close enough to Coimbra for a quick taxi or drive to enjoy the city, but the property itself feels like a peaceful countryside escape where you can truly unplug. The highlights for us were definitely the facilities and the hospitality. Our toddler was in heaven between the play area and the animals, seeing the chickens, peacocks, and cockatoos was a daily treat. The owner truly went above and beyond; she was so kind to our son, even letting him join her to feed the goats, which he hasn't stopped talking about! Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection, and the owner even checked in with us personally to see what we’d like. Between the refreshing pool and the lovely veranda area, it was the perfect family break. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with little ones!"

"This hotel offers a lovely position overlooking a river, park, and of course the Templar Castle. The impressive lobby elicits a Wow expression upon entry! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Minor complaint is a 1 euro charge for each coffee capsule used in the room! Does it really impact the hotel's profit to charge for in-room coffee? Also, would have been nice to have free parking, but it is becoming more common for upscale hotels to charge for parking."

"The room was very clean. I would make sure that I had a view of the pool or the water if I stayed there next time. We were across from a pretty ugly building not a huge fan of the carpet. The service was great, the bartender the front desk people the massage staff were all great. The layout of this place is a little weird. We have to go through the dining area to get to the pool but once you get out there, the pool is beautiful."
