Staff is top notch. Interior of the main areas is lovely. One issue for us were the steep stairs, or actually ladders, but staff helped hauling up our luggage. Very convenient spot for biking and seaside. Only about 2 miles away.

Perfect for a short trip! Showers and toilets are in the corridor, which you should know so that there are no disagreements. Staff and service are all the better for it. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. There is also very good food in the in-house restaurant. All in all, I enjoyed my stay very much.

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und urig eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem, allerdings sind die Wände recht dünn, sodass man gefühlt jedes Wort, was im Nachbarzimmer gewechselt wird, hört und auch die Schritte der anderen Gäste auf dem leicht knarzenden Boden im Obergeschoss, wo sich die Zimmer befinden. Es gibt Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Die Bäder waren immer sauber, allerdings hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass zumindest im Einzelbad ein Fön zur Verfügung steht. Ich hatte meinen glücklicherweise vorsorglich eingepackt. Außerdem enthalten die Zimmer auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank/Minibar, um dort gekaufte Dinge (z.B. Käse ;) ) verstauen zu können. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, spricht Niederländisch und Englisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend, die Auswahl vor allem an Käse könnte aber etwas größer sein. Hier wurde meist nur eine Sorte angeboten. Auch hätte ich mir etwas mehr Vollkorngebäck gewünscht. Es gab neben einem dunklen Brot ansonsten nur Weißmehlprodukte wie Weißbrot, Weizenbrötchen und Croissants. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits. Zum Strand Castricum an Zee sind es ca. 3 km, zum nächstgelegenen Supermarkt ca. 10 Min. zu Fuß. Der Banhof ist in etwa 20 Min. fußläufig zu erreichen und der nächste Fahrradverleih befindet sich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Insgesamt war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt im Hotel und den Ausflugszielen rund um Castricum zufrieden.

Für 1 Übernachtung okay

In dem Hotel gibt es keinen Aufzug, sehr steile Treppen, für etwas ältere, leicht gehbehinderten Leuten nicht so gut geeignet. Im Bad fehlen Abstellmöglichkeiten und Haken, an denen man Handtücher aufhängen kann, keine Aufhänger an den Handtüchern und nur ein kleiner Spiegel überm Waschbecken. Platz gäbe es für einen großen Wandspiegel. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend.

1e kamer die was toegewezen had meerdere mankementen. Vieze matrassen, gorige molton, lamp defect in badkamer, douchestang amateuristisch vast gezet. Na klagen een andere kamer gekregen die er een stuk beter uitzsg.

Kwam laat aan en dat kon, prima dus. Kreeg ook vriendelijk uitleg over kamer en gedeelde badkamer en toilet (heb ik waarschijnlijk over heen gelezen, wist ik nl niet). Had geen uitleg gehad over hoe ik ‘s morgens het pand kon verlaten. Moest in de ochtend dus wachten op personeel voordat ik kon vertrekken. 1 maal ontbijt van mij verwisseld met ontbijt van iemand anders en 2e ochtend helemaal geen ontbijt pakket. Zeer warme kamer, leek wel een sauna Dus plus punten maar ook wat verbeter punten
