"Perfect. Friendly, clean, affordable and a great location. 5 min walk to the bottom of the castle gardens where an elevator and / or escalator will take you to the top free of charge. "Great location with UNBELIEVABLE views of the City. Located next to historic St. Matthias Church. Hotel must have been recently renovated... everything felt new and with high quality finishes. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I'd give breakfast a B+, good but of course it tends toward the heavy side as is common in Hungary. All in All it is THE place to stay in budapest"

"Great boutique hotel in the Buda castle district. It is in an isolated area from all the tourist traffic but 5 minutes walking from all the action in the area. I would recommend taking the breakfast option. Also, we had lunch once at the hotel restaurant and it was a perfect change from Hungarian food. If you can, ask to stay in room 33 - quite original layout and decoration and super spacious. The staff (Daniel at reception in particular) was very friendly. From the Baltazar it will take a 15...
