"Great boutique hotel in the middle of Tuscany. Wonderful views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really loved the complimentary wine tasting at their nearby winery! We only wish their rooftop deck would’ve been open for even better views. The hotel and winery are family owned and it’s very clear that they value every guest!"

"if you plan to leave the property know that there aren't many taxi or Ubers available and you will spend a lot of money alone on transportation. the rooms were cheap but the rides were more so in all fairness I would stay closer to Florence where there is more available transportation like a bus route. it took a long time to find a taxi to the train station and we spent almost double what we paid for the stay just to get a ride. "

"Godt, at man kunne grille og lave mad i eget køkken, inkl. køleskab, kogeplader, ovn. Dejligt med aircondition. Man kunne ikke se vejen, og blev ikke genereret af trafikken, der ikke var heftig. Fin swimmingpool. Værtsparret var til rådighed og meget serviceminded. Restauranten, der lå 75 m væk, er yderst anbefalelsesværdig: god mad og betjening. Castellini in Chianti kunne nås på 10 min. på cykel. Roligt om natten. "

"You are paying for the view!!!! This hotel was not worth the money spent in my opinion. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, though the restaurant staff was lovely. We had to bring our luggage up to our room and back down during check in and check out — no one even offered and trust me it was a hike to get it up there. Also they overcharged us at every turn. At their overpriced wine testing (which they were unprepared for our reservation, not set up and didn’t remember what we booked)...

"Overall, a decent place to stay near San Gimignano with lovely surroundings. The property has a beautiful garden and pool are and the breakfast was decent. That said, I was frustrated with the check-in process, the receptionist was also helping in the kitchen during dinner hour, so I had to wait quite a while to be checked in. Additionally, there was no one available to help with luggage, so I ended up carrying my bags up to the second floor myself. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside...

"Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff."

"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided...
