Unique mountain landscape surrounding a hillside village, with the resort set almost at the top. Fabulous facilities, very comfortable room and great staff. Loved the infinity pool looking out onto the mountains. Would love to come back.

De laatste 700 meter naar de accommodatie vergt wel wat stuurmanskunst met de auto. Smalle steile straatjes met haarspeldbochten. Met een wat grotere auto is het belangrijk om bij het dorp aangekomen de duidelijke bewegwijzering te volgen ipv de navigatie (de door navigatie aangegeven route bleek voor onze auto te smal). Eenmaal boven is het uitzicht (bij helder weer) werkelijk fenomenaal. De tweepersoonskamer (mirador) was net groot genoeg en standaard qua inrichting. Geen airco, maar s nachts koelt het meestal wel flink af in de bergen. Uitzicht is indrukwekkend. Voor het ontbijt vul je vooraf in wat je wilt hebben en dan wordt het op het afgesproken tijdstip in een mandje bij je kamer gebracht. Het restaurant is supergoed - we hebben hier alle avonden gegeten en hadden iedere avond weer verrassende lokale gerechten met verse lokale ingredienten. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kleine infinity pool was heerlijk op warme dagen en bijzonder met het indrukwekkende uitzicht. Badhandoeken voor het zwembad kun je gratis bij de receptie halen en terugbrengen. Er zijn meerdere wandelroutes vanuit het hotel. Er zit geen supermarktje in de buurt, dus als je niet steeds met de auto door de steile bochtige straatjes wilt rijden is het raadzaam genoeg boodschappen mee te nemen. NP Redes is erg mooi en geliefd bij wandelaars en fietsers. N.b.: het ligt nog wel een heel stuk van picos de Europa af, waar de bergen nog iets hoger zijn.

Prachtige omgeving, zeker voor hiken, echt weg van de drukte, en het was ook erg goed eten in het restaurant. De home suite was groot genoeg voor ons (fam van 4), netjes en hoewel niet luxe mooi afgewerkt met houten balken en vloer, met funktionele ikea-like keuken en douche, en grote ramen die een mooi uitzicht op de bergen geeft. Geweldig hotel, zou er zeker weer naar toe gaan.

This property, for the good and the bad, was located at the top of a very small village which is great to see as a tourist but a bit frustrating for the locals. The views are spectacular and nice places to hike. Too bad the jacuzzi and pool were not functioning. We were looking forward to them. I think the website should mention that these are shut down for certain periods of the year
