"The staff here is very nice and accommodating. I did not want to pay $500 to stay in Ojai but was coming for an event there and this place was only 10 minutes away. check in was easy and fast, parking was ample and conveniently located by room. Fresh cookies while I waited to check in. The room was very clean and quiet and had everything I needed. I hung out by the pool for about an hour and there was no one else there which was great. "Everything was great except a problem with the a/c control which kept room far too cod and also noisy. I reported the issue to front desk where my concern was professionally noted and reported. Later the day of checkout, I caalled the GM who graciously approved a rate discount for the inconvenience. Grace was the GM and Johnny helped me. Very impressed with the proper degree of concern and professionalism and both Individuals were exceptionally courteous."

"Very nice hotel that is right by Ventura pier and in the heart of downtown Ventura. It is a bit hidden which was actually kind of nice and the pedestrian bridge to get to the pier and beach is only a 10 minute walk. "The room was great and the staff was nice. The online paperwork to check in was a little annoying. But the hotel is light years better than when I stayed at the “Chantico Inn” up the street. I’ll never go back to that place. At Chantico, I was there for 3 weeks and had to change rooms 6 times do to maintenance issues in all their rooms. I do wish that this place offered a continental breakfast, but that’s really my only complaint. The king bed room I had was huge. "
