"The parking is not guaranteed. It is first come first served and they only have 7 spots. Rest is on street which is only from 7 pm to 8 am. I was very annoyed about no guaranteed parking (contra to what Hotels.com said). Room was shabby and not an impressive renovation of an older property. Very cheap coffee maker. Windows without screens. Fireplace worked fine. Gas. Large room but just not great at all. Cheaper pillows and linens. Towels were good quality. Older bath renovation with icky plastic shower curtain. Dreary. But quiet and safe. "

"Room was huge with a full kitchen, ideal for longer stays. Unfortunately we had to leave a night early but only as we were invited to stay with friends locally."

"This was an odd experience for us. When we booked this ‘resort’, the pictures and property details made it seem like this would be a luxury experience. We had an expectation that this would be a chance to unwind, order room service, etc. While the staff was wonderful, our expectations of the property and amenities were not met. The apartment we stayed in was big but was decorated like a timeshare and not stocked with any towels, the hot tubs were dirty, there was no room service or vegetarian options at the restaurant, and we found ourselves wishing we had stayed somewhere else. "

"We had a lovely stay at Pine Inn. The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of Carmel and less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, which made everything feel easy and accessible. I was traveling with my infant, and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating. They provided a crib and even a refrigerator for storing her food, which made a huge difference in keeping our routine smooth and stress-free. Parking is definitely limited, so that’s something to keep in mind. We were fortunate to find a spot right outside the hotel, but I can see how it could be tricky during busier times. Overall, a charming and convenient place to stay, especially for families looking for a central location with thoughtful touches."

"We loved our stay here! We didn’t want to leave and wish we booked longer. It was very reasonably priced too. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was also beautifully decorated. The people were very friendly. There isn’t a lot of parking but we found spaces near the hotel easy enough if there weren’t many spaces. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Easy drive to pebble beach and Monterey. The morning breakfast basket was the best, we loved ours! Would recommend!"
