The owners Mandy and JP are amazing people and have built a little piece of paradise for all who wish to visit one of the most beautiful places on earth. The rooms were immaculate, the location outstanding, and they paid attention to every single detail to make sure that we slept well and were comfortable each and every day and night. We will absolutely be going back and encourage anybody interested in visiting Bocas to do the same.

Wonderful property. We were able to dive in the water right outside our door off the deck. Mandy and PJ are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was awesome. Food nearby was awesome. The only knock I would have is that across the channel, the clubs in Bocas Town are loud until 2 AM. Fortunately, Mandy and PJ provide white noise sound bars in the room. We would definitely come back!

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Firstly the staff - Mandy, JP and Ariel are all fantastic. They are available for any questions or tips you may have. The breakfast is a reasonable price and is delicious. There is a selection of breakfast cocktails which are great as well. They have drinks and snacks available for purchase. There are some dining options for lunch and dinner on the island which is convenient - especially since you will want to enjoy the hotel! We had a room over the water, epic view of the sunset. The room was clean, A/C worked well, they provide a gallon of water daily (you can request more). You can tell that they put a lot of work into the rooms with all the special touches. There are cooking tools with dishes if you wanted to cook (no need imo - lots of great places within walking distance). Fridge available which was super useful. We received a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary which was such a lovely touch. You can make coffee in your room, its also available at the breakfast nook from 630 (so we opted for that). The bed is incredibly comfortable, so you'll definitely be in for a good sleep. They have a small sound machine, and a larger one in the room installed (which was SO helpful) to distract from outside noise. One night it was loud out (since town isn't too far away), but with the sound machine you couldn't hear anything. From the dock its super easy to grab a water taxi. Highly recommend.

In the 21 countries that I've traveled, this is in my top-3 places I've ever stayed in my life. I am still traveling, so this initial review will be short. I'll have to come back and edit this when I get back home because it is one of those experiences that just keeps coming back to you with more and more memories that keep putting a smile on your face. Mandy and JP have created something magical. My wife, three boys, and I were happy, relaxed, at peace, having fun, well fed, and well informed on where to go during our five days in Bocas. Every detail of Casa Acuario was perfect. Every recommendation from JP and Mandy on what to do whas spot on. There are no photos that can do this property and these hosts justice. Just book it.

Perfect spot on the water

We just got back from a 10 day stay at this inn that was amazing. The beds were comfortable, the view was awesome and the inn keepers(Elia and Edgar) were great. They made our stay extremely enjoyable. The water taxis are available almost anytime of day right off the dock in front and all the other islands are within 2 to 10 minutes from the inn by water taxi. The only thing I can think that would make it better is to have a ladder on the dock to get in and out of the water but no complaints here.

Melhor lugar para se hospedar em bocas del toro

O quarto é perfeito, tudo em volta é mar. Água linda e cristalina por toda a parte. As instalações em si fazem você se sentir no melhor lugar do mundo! Tudo muito simples e bonito como deve ser uma casa na praia.

I think the administration of this place have no communication with Orbitz. the first thing they told me when I got there: "We didn't think you were coming" so they didn't have a room for me. I ended up in a horrible room that they use for storage or something. It was dirty and in really bad condition. Nothing like the pictures, no even in the outside. I was in a unfamiliar island and tired so I stayed for one night. The fleas were the worst thing, the place is full of small fleas that bite and there is no way to get rid of them. Breakfast was awful and still charged me full price.
