"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. "Good: dinner & b/fast were good value & quality Parking Bad: party in on the Saturday night that we stayed. V noisy children screaming non stop. Useless parennts and hotel staff did nothing. Dinner booked for 1845 seated 1930. Meal not served Until 1945 !! "

"Rooms seem to vary between spacious and elegant and very functional and ‘compact’. No room for chair in my room. Bed was only option. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Meals excellent but not cheapest. Dining areas more basic than other areas. Parking excellent."
