Convenient

Very central. Many restaurants very close by. Parking shouldn’t be an issue. Grotto a nine minute walk. Modern kitchen and bathroom. First floor 20 steps. No air but two good fans.

Stylishly decorated, comfortable and luxurious

One of the best places we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. It has either recently been renovated or looked after very well because it was immaculately decorated to the highest standard throughout. Very stylish, they had updated the old building with the upmost style and sensitivity, thinking of every detail a guest might need for their stay. The breakfast was amazing, the host was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make it a wonderful stay. The city itself is worth a visit but as we came right at the end of the season (beginning of October) it was very quiet and many businesses seemed closed. The Citadel is incredible and worth exploring and some nice places to eat out in and around the city square near the hotel. The was certainly the highlight of our stay in Carcassone. We slept very well and enjoyed the amazing shower, roll top bath, Netflix on the big screen and the luxurious surroundings.

Such a hidden gem!

Our stay was fantastic. Virginie is a lovely host, so warm and welcoming. The room was pristine, the breakfast varied and tasty. I highly recommend it!

A boutique hotel run by a friendly couple that is slowly converting an old residence. Big room, personal attention, but not all the conveniences of a larger place.

A fantastic location in the centre of the Bastide and walking distance to the Ramparts and Chateau. A very short walk to Place Carnot which has lots of restaurants. The room was beautiful, spacious and well equipped. I have stayed in 5 star hotels with rooms that were not as nice as this one! The host was very warm and helpful from before our arrival right up to our departure. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.

아이와 편안했던 1박 .친절한 주인부부와 세심한 배려가 하나하나 느껴지는 사랑스러웠던 룸과 아침식사까지 좋은 휴식이 되었다. 처음엔삭막해보였던 거리에 위치한줄 알았는데 무료주차장 .Monoprix .레스토랑 까페 광장과 너무 가까워서 편리하게 즐길수 있었고 Carcassonne까지 도보로도 가능한 위치이며 버스정류장도 가까웠다.

Wunderschöne moderne und stylische Zimmer, super liebevolles Frühstück und rundum ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Sogar ein Picknick im Garten war möglich und die beiden Hosts sind unfassbar bemüht alles perfekt zu machen

Cadre et bâtiments superbes qui ont une âme.Style, déco et petit déjeuner très agréables. Juste à savoir : la Cité médiévale de Carcassonne est à environ une demi-heure à pied. Bon conseil pour le parking, merci.

Absolutely beautiful garden area and the room was clean, large and beautifully decorated. They thought of everything! Nice bathtub and separate large shower. Toilet room with bidet spray next to toilet. Soaps and shampoo and towels all high end. Tea and coffee available in the room. The breakfast room across the garden from guest rooms is bright and welcoming. Lots of cereal choices and breads with jam. Your hostess, Virginie, will make you an egg with ham slices if you ask. She makes a wonderful fruit smoothie fresh every day! We hope to return for at least a week next year.

The BEST hotel experience EVER!!

Oh my GOD! If I could have stayed here forever - I would have. This is a beautiful, huge room on a lovely property that is quintessentially French. After a long day exploring medieval Carcassone you can come back to a footed soaker tub and just relax - which is exactly what I did. The room is deigned like something out of an Architectural Digest article. So tasteful and with every amenity - from tea to sparkling Evian and the most wonderful smelling soaps. Plus our hostess/owner Virgine was absolutely sweet as could be. We had a lovely chat at breakfast - pan chocolate, poached eggs, coffee - all delicious. I cannot believe how affordable all of this was. To note: It's a B and B, so make sure you read the check-in instructions and call ahead to let her know you're coming. We couldn't find it at first because the sign was subtle.

Wow, what a delightful stay. The rooms at this quaint property are individually designed and fitted as though you were in someones own private home. Our host was very gracious and helped us with directions and options on what to do during our short stay. Everything was immaculately kept and the personal touches were much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again when in this part of France.

Excellent stay at Le Coeur de la Bastide

Everything about Le Coeur de la Bastide was phenomenal. The accommodation is in a central location within town and the room itself was spotless and very well presented. The breakfast was delicious and Virginie is such a wonderful and accommodating host. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night!
