"We loved this place! The pictures don’t do it justice; it’s absolutely stunning and a beautiful and short walk to town. It’s super close to a cool beach club as well. The entire staff is super friendly, we especially loved Mario who went out of his way to play with our daughter Lia! Would come back here in a heartbeat. Only wished they played music at the pool but I’m sure not all hotel guests would like this."

"We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. We are experienced travellers and this hotel is a standout. Location and beach are perfect. We went to several other beaches miles away and found this beach to the best. Breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit and pastries. The staff were all helpful. Short drive to town with tons of restaurant choice. The room ( sea view) is a tad small but cute with a lovely view. Sad to leave. "

"just 80 yards from the beach, the hotel has an excellent location. Either side and two excellent restaurants. The room is nicely laid out with a decent sized balcony. The shower worked well, although somewhat compact our laundry came in at 109 euros for a small load, therefore best not to use if possible superb swimming pool at 5th floor level "

"Une étape très agréable à l’hôtel El Balear, très bien situé , qui nous a permis après quelques heures de moto de faire une halte récupératrice , en descendant sur la petite plage à proximité de l’hôtel , tout en étant à distance très accessible de la vieille ville et de ses boutiques et restaurants . Chouette petit dejeuner avec une belle vue sur mer Une adresse que nous recommandons vivement . Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ."

"This property is located a short distance from town. It is lovely, quiet, and scenic. There is a gorgeous pool area and a beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available at both the pool and the beach. We walked to restaurants nearby. Great place!"

"Pour la 2eme fois pus avons séjourné dans et établissement (2 fois 2 nuits ) Tout est parfait sauf peut etre le bruit de la rue en soiree ...je pense que la porte fenêtre donnant sur le balcon ne fermait pas tres bien.. Pour le reste tout est tresbien et nous recommandons cet établissement."

"We came to Alghero to celebrate our anniversary and had repeatedly tried to get a reservation at Mabrouk restaurant,(the Stanley Tucci) recommended from his CNN show but we couldn’t secure one on our own, but Chiara at the reception desk called and amazingly got us in for an 8pm seating! So grateful and so happy we had an incredible dining experience! It was everything and more! Frazier Grazie, Robert and Louise, ciao Alghero xoxo"

"The hotel is outdated but very clean and has a nice breakfast, a great location near the beach, a grocery store across the street and lovely staff. I'd rather they don't do unnecessary renovations to keep the prices reasonable. So it's perfect for my needs and I highly recommend it."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Piras in Alghero! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding – the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (and more). They were always available, extremely helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. The location is great too – close enough to explore Alghero...
