Complaint
I want a R499,00 refund.
I booked online.
The receptionist wanted hard cash.
What’s the procedure to get refunded?
It was the most unpleasant hotel that i have ever stayed at. There was no wifi nothing and a Nigerian was the recetionist and trying to fix the wifi and the cups were dirty en the place was damp and cold. It was totally a nono. I do not recomend anyone to stay there.
This is not a proper hotel. Mis-description. This is not what has been described on hotels.com.
No available breakfast.
No outdoor pool
No seaview (despite the pictures)
Stains on pillow and towels (when you got a towel)
Seagull's nesting on the roof... very noisy
Broken blinds
NO Plug to charge your phone or use the kettle... I have to unplug the TV
Otherwise my room was quite big. Tea provided.
A experiência foi extremamente agradável, a equipe do hotel sempre muito solicita. O que deixou a desejar foi a mobilidade, pois só a escada para subir até os quartos.
It was clean and looked like it was recently renovated but very cheaply done. But they have very low rates for that location - which was a great location - but you get to what you pay for so can’t expect 5 star comfort for 2 star prices. Good for a budget/backpacking traveler who is more interested to in price and location and than comfort.
EXPERIENCE APPALLING!! I have lodged complaints on the websites hotel.com, booking.com and have reported this place to the SA tourism board, Chamber of Commerce board and will ANNOUNCE IT ON EACH AND EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM THAT I CAN FIND!
The service is appalling, this place should NOT exist. They double booked, even when we checked earlier the week on our booking done 3 months ago. WARNING PEOPLE NOT TO STAY THERE! They steal from your credit card! Booked for 2 nights at Sea Point Inn with confirmation in the week by CARMEN. Arrived at the place and were taken to another hotel 200 away-Sea Point Inn double booked. DAN who was on duty was constantly on the phone...until I heard 'no I will tell them tomorrow". We stayed at one hotel on the Friday night, then we had to check out and stay at another hotel (DAN, ISIFIA and Mr Diamond (supervisor) said that they offer us the 2nd night at their 'top penthouse place' to stay for FREE! I @*&^ paid for 2 nights at one hotel!! We still owed R500 for one evening and DAN only wanted cash, NO CARDS! So the scenario was this: We didn't check in at Sea Point Inn, they took our 2 nights money and paid for one night at another hotel, telling us they already paid for us at another l. We had to check out the next morning to stay at another hotel the Saturday night, 200m somewhere else!! Mr DIAMOND (on the phone) kept saying he offer us their room to stay. I don't shack around Sea Point! Read more on HelloPeter and Tourism website. !!
I am extremely disappointed with the hotel, the room we were booked into was extremely dirty and it was smelly as well. I paid for a room that I never stayed in which I feel is unacceptable, the minute I walked in I walked out.

Location and security.rooms well maintained and the place is queit.
The property is not at all what looks like in the photos. The room is small, the bed blocked by a wall. The linen had stains in them. No towels. No lamps (as per photos). The blinds are broken and unable to use them. No remote control and existing wifi not working. The basin in the bathroom is shallow so each time you use it it floods the bathroom and the room. No bath mats, even if they were it wouldn't help. The floor remans wet and spreads wherever you walk. There is a heater in the room, one of those that with wet floors would be very dangerous. We asked for towels and we got two wet ones. Staff tried to help but unfortunately we had to leave and book another hotel nearby when i woke up with number of bites in my body. So overall, not like in the pictures at all. And waste of our money. Im surprised Expedia lists them. Awful experience.
Service was not good, other than that, it's was ok

Great location, lovely reasonable hotel. Parking, few bays had to park on the street. No remote for TV, I asked for it, they brought it but it didn’t work & batteries falling off as there was no cover. All in all nice hotel & will definitely come back.
The apartment was spacious as well-equipped. I was a bit disappointed however because when I booked with you it was stated that it had sea and mountain views whereas it only had a partial view of mountains over the next door hotel, no sea. I also would have appreciated some tea, coffee, milk etc as i wasn't there long enough to do much shopping. However it was clean, comfortable and the surrounding area was wonderful and the experience in general, very positive.
The stay was not good at all. There was Cockroaches in the bathroom, WiFi connection was bad barely worked in the room, the tv had only a Few channels, Bedspread had a stain on and a burnt cigarette hole and there was No toiletries as promised
