I enjoyed the stay at neighborhood hotel. I liked the location of the hotel. I couldn't have asked for a better location. The check-in was nice and professional. I was pleased with the entry and exit of the hotel. I will certainly stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Cape Town, I will use this hotel.
Friendly welcome on arrival and departure by all staff The room was small but, and since I only slept there, it was not an issue. Small maintenance issues in the room that should have been addressed lowered the rating to 4 instead of an ideal 4.75. The food in the café was good value, and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again.
The rooms are clean ( but they need air fresheners, they’re not smell bad) , the lifts aren’t clean, everything else outside the rooms are not clean, even the seats at the reception are not clean. A renovation will make this hotel great
I wish I could give the service level of the staff a higher rating than 5 stars! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provide assistance. The restaurant on the first floor is good, too. The hotel is walking distance to many CBD activities and it is easy to get an Uber for the rest.
This was the second experience with this property and without a doubt will not be the last! Excellent energy, ease of doing business, cleanliness and comfort. The new breakfast buffet was an exceptional addition to an already warm and friendly atmosphere. The attentive and upbeat staff were always smiling and ready to assist. The value is a powerful plus in an already unbeatable hospitality experience!
front desk was phenomenal they were helpful, great advice, kind, welcoming. elevator was quick, restaurant attached to hotel was delicious as well, we arrived early but they kept our luggage for us while we went for breakfast nice! rooms were very clean has a fridge and massive shower, windows opened up wide and the curtains can block out all sun, check in and check was easy and quick, they come to clean your room once a day and provide fresh towels, and the soap is so nice we loved the soap SOAP WAS SO NICE, they give u a welcome note which was so cute, little cookies and free coffee in the room with a kettle, location is a bit far from the water front but thats what we wanted, and it was still walkable to many museums and restaurants (but only during the day) do not walk at night take a bolt or uber

Air con not working
Good location , if you want to be in the centre of the CBD . This is my 2nd stay here and both times the air con on the rooms did not work. The afternoon sun , comes shining in and my room was like a heat box.

I left I didn’t even stay the rooms were dirty the ac didn’t work room I booked wasn’t what they tried to give me
Good hotel to stay in at Cape Town. If you are travelling alone, be careful with the surrounding area at night. It is not the safest area, but the hotel is great!
Excellent from start to finish! Amazing attitudes and assistance along with epic energies of everyone here. The restaurant was also exceptional in every category of service and satisfaction. Clean and wonderfully comfortable.
The place was awesome..It's more or less a brothel..What a fellow does is lounge around at the first floor bar and wait for the right lady to have seat next to him and converse.Soon the negotiations begin with the bedroom services desired and what it's gonna cost him.I was there four days and four nights and enjoyed carnal knowledge with ten different South African women both Black and White.Hope I didn't catch anything LOL!

the rooms are super clean but the corridors are not that clean, the accommodation is close to everything but right on the edge for safety, 2 streets behind you see some confusion street kids who make it a little uncomfortable, but 2 streets ahead in the direction the long street seems safer and we took some walks on foot.
The restaurant's opening hours don't help if you want to drink coffee early in the morning and go out for walks, but there are some places less than 200m away for that purpose. Overall, it's good for the price but they could improve on the cleaning of the hallways.
