Absolutely amazing safaris. Highly recommend staying and doing at least the horse riding to get up close to the giraffes. Saw all the animals multiple times, cant complain about how close and often you see the animals. Each safari was unique and special. Also seeing the elephants and baboons outside our lodge on a morning was amazing. Lots to do and keep you busy between. Food, views, service, knowledge, wildlife were second to none. Couldnt pick a more special place for the middle of our honeymoon. Very highly recommended.

Great property. Rooms were spacious, clean and nicely upgraded. Staff was excellent. Great view from the wine tasting patio and the staff were very knowledgeable on their wines. Only small knock is that the wifi strength in the particular room I had was very weak (one bar) and often dropped out making it difficult to get some of the work I needed to do while I stayed. Overall beautiful

Eco-Friendly Stay with White Glove Service

This was an absolutely wonderful stay! Sean and his team really took care of me. I felt so welcomed. And they really looked after me because they were able to accommodate all my allergies. My reservation was at the very last minute, and they were so gracious with all the last-minute changes. The food was made from scratch in-house and was delicious! The wine transported me! The room and furnishings were modern, clean, and well maintained. There was five-star service at every venue on the property! I loved that Lynx Wine Estate is eco-friendly, self-sustaining, and promotes sustainability in a myriad of ways during your stay. There were lovely high touchpoints (you get a treat if you opt to have your room not cleaned, and they help get you on the wine tram if Lynx is your starting point to name a few) that set Lynx apart. I didn’t want to leave. And I’m absolutely staying here on my next visit to the Cape Winelands. My only con has nothing to do with Lynx. Franschhoek doesn’t have great transportation options, but Uber was a decent alternative (be prepared for 15 minute wait times) since I didn’t rent a car. However, if you communicate your travel needs, the Lynx team will help in a pinch.
