The Beach house Hout Bay Feb stay with Freinds

Nice small guest house, extremely clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts. The owner even made us coffee for our early departure at 6.30am. The guest house has recently installed solar panels which meant it was not effected by the country wide blackouts.

Klein und familier

Wir erlebten einen herzlichen Empfang von Sylvi, die uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Alle sind sehr freundlich dort. Gute Athmosphäre. Die Lage ist zentral für Ausfüge mit dem Auto in die City oder viele andere lohnende Ziele. Zum Strand gelangt man in 5min über die Düne. Wir haben in der Buch sehr gut essen können. Einzig die Straße hinter dem Gelände hat uns etwas gestört bei offenen Fensten.

Even when I turned up late and the manager was in bed I still was very welcome. Also warm chocolate muffins for breakfast. So thank you fellow rock lover for a wonderful stay in a special place

Heaven in Hout Bay

The Beach House is a hidden gem. Situated right on the beach, it is welcoming, homely, comfortable, magical all at the same time. Nothing is too much trouble, the service is excellent. We will certainly be back! Getting about is simplicity itself as MyCiti have regular buses a couple of minutes away to take you to the City, which goes along the beautiful coast via Camps Bay where a quick change takes you to Table Mountain. City Sightseeing (red open toppers) also serve Hout Bay, ideal for the first time visitor.

Kleines Schmuckstück

Tolles kleines Hotel am wunderschönen Strand von Hout Bay. Unbedingt die etwas teureren oberen Zimmer mit Blick auf den Strand buchen. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb mit gutem Service. Abgeschlossene Parkplätze auf dem Gelände vorhanden. Wenn Hout Bay, dann nur hier.

Lovely Hout Bay

Owners will go out of the way to assist even finding halaal beef sausages and food that you want. Didn't realise that room didn't have a shower. Bath takes forever to fill up. Sheets stank of fabric softener. Only very high pillows. Nowhere to put your cosmetic case and nowhere to store your bag. I could have complained and I am sure they would have fixed but I was in a hurry. Beautiful location. Lovely room.

Great stay

It was an excellent place to stay right near the beach and you couldn't get better service, the breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, rooms comfortable and a good bed to sleep in, they had water restrictions but that was all of Cape Town so you just had to be careful and not waste water. Couldn't ask for better people to stay with would stay or recommend it to all ages

Can’t fault it, clean, decent standard, lovely host and not pretentious, exactly what I was after. And the beach is around the corner. Very good breakfast too. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Great Location

We had stayed at the Beach House 22 months ago. It now has new owners who have made some good modifications and improvements. The hotel is literally on the beach so does sometimes bare the effects of wind blown sand. Zac and Sylvie and their team work hard to ensure the comfort of their guests. Breakfast is excellent with both cold and cooked options. We stayed in room 3 which is on the first floor and overlooking the beach with views over the sand to the sea. A good choice. Room 2 is the same.

Family run guest house with fabulous service.

Stayed 4 nights with a group of friends. The owners made our group feel welcome and ensured everything was to our complete satisfaction. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The owner cooked a delicious dinner for us one night. The only minor issue is internet is very, very, very slow.

Fantastic place to stay. Service and hospitality excellent. A huge thank you to Sylvie and Zach for the most relaxing 3 days. Your Guest House is truly the best I've ever stayed in and we loved being able to sit by the pool and relax each evening. Best muffins ever!! We'll be back.....
