Home away from home !

Truly a home away from home ! i arrived after 10PM at night and was warmly received by Jolie and her team who went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Each en-suite room has a TV and it's own bar fridge over and above the well equipped kitchen and dining room. The lounge has a massive LED TV with the full DSTV Premium bouquet so no shortage of things to watch with guests. A nice touch was having an ironing service available which worked out perfectly for all the creased shirts after a long trip. Secure parking with 24 hour security on the property. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town.

I took a taxi ($29) to the Baraka Guesthouse and upon arrival the gate was closed. I pressed the doorbell button and the person inside said there were no rooms. I told her I had a confirmation from Hotels.com and she acknowledged that she saw that, but regardless I couldn’t enter. I had to find an alternative at additional cost, plus taxi fare.

Jolie was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Elke ochtend haalde ze verse broodjes voor het ontbijt. Het continentaal ontbijt was prima! Het huis was goed beveiligd en de auto kon achter een hek op eigen terrein. De kamer was ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Badkamer was prima. Plumstead ligt centraal en in de omgeving zijn voldoende eetmogelijkheden. Er is een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Internetverbinding was goed. Wij danken Jolie en Rachel voor hun gastvrije ontvangst.
