"My reservation was cancelled prior to my trip. I didn’t know it was cancelled. So, I reserved another room in same hotel and the night clerk told me we couldn’t check in until 4pm . Mind you we drove three hours from Chicago. Didn’t arrive until 2am . To be told we couldn’t check in until 4pm later that day. However, the clerk from the hotel behind Fairfield inn assisted us as walk in."

"Noisy from traffic, thin walls, banging rattlely doors and poorly sealed a/c unit. I asked to change room for the 2 remaining nights of my stay in the morning between checkouts and checkins and was told NO because they were going to fully booked that evening?"

"My assigned room had chunks of carpet missing. The doorframes were chipped and worn. The room didn’t appear to have been dusted in quite a while. The bathroom floor needed to be cleaned. There was an old molded coffee filter and grounds in the coffee pot. The refrigerator didn’t work and the front closet had a bunch of exposed wall anchors and missing shelves. Lastly, the wall nearest the window had suspicious dripping stains (disgusting). In all, not the greatest stay for the price. This hotel...

"Power went out on 3rd of July, I had to work on the 4th for 24 hrs. I found out at work power wouldn't be restored until Tuesday so we decided to get a hotel. Reserved thru Expedia for two days, but somehow, Holiday Inn only had us for one day. So while I'm at the house setting up generators and extension cords, one of the managers came down to the room to have my family leave at noon. They couldn't figure out what was going on u til I had to come back and explain it. It was just a stressful...
