Overall, our stay was decent, scoring a 7/10, though several aspects could be improved to elevate the guest experience.
Areas for Improvement:
· The buffet breakfast would benefit from a greater variety of options.
· In the Whisper Bar, we found the general staff demeanor could be more welcoming. One incident with a barista was particularly disappointing: she prepared my coffee with full-cream milk despite an order for an almond latte, then denied having received the original request. Only when the person who placed the order intervened did she agree to remake one of the coffees, insisting I would need to pay for a replacement for the other.
· Upon checking into Room 8, we noticed a persistent, strong mold odor. We resorted to using eucalyptus oils throughout our stay to mitigate the smell.
· The facilities feel somewhat outdated, which is understandable given the building's age, but some modernization would enhance comfort.
Exceptional Staff Recognition:
I would like to extend high praise to one staff member at the Whisper breakfast service. She has black curly hair with a fringe and often wears white scrunchies. She worked on 12/1/2026 morning on our last day. She stood out for being consistently respectful, empathetic, and warm in all our interactions. She truly represents a gold standard in hospitality.
