The convenience of having so many amenities so close was amazing for our first time in Costa Rica. Get the package! We did so many fun things that were adrenaline driven! Food was great loved that they made fresh eggs for you! And the lunch during our adventure day was AMAZING I mean the best meal after excursions 10/10. And the Sunset dinner is stunning. I checked many things off a Costa Rica Bucket list with our stay here! My complaint would be be the beds oh man they were rough on my back. We didn't have a fridge and that would have been great to plan for. We ended up getting a neighbors when they left for our last two days.When we checked in the lady didn't tell us all the other things we could do near our stay so ask if you need plans luckily we planned a day at the beach. But upon checked out another great was getting lots of other options. No AC in our room but night is fine ans you aren't there to be in the room I would hope. BRING BUG SPRAY. We got ate up at night. If you drive be prepared for a rough road up. We are from CO so we knew how to handle the switch backs and pot holes. All in all 10/10 would come back again!!

It was nice to stay on the property with all of the amenities.The adventure park included a lot of things with your stay. The hot springs were cool and amazing, we did the horseback riding, which was fun. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only thing I would change is I would probably get a room with an air conditioner.It got pretty warm trying to sleep. We had to leave the windows open but then you hear the birds and the monkeys very early in the morning.

We stayed for 2 nights. The resort is very cool with a lot of nature right in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are nice. The food is expensive and mostly just okay. There are a lot of activities to do there, but you are a captive audience and excursions are quite expensive. Transportation out there is a bit difficult, be prepared for a long Uber ride. The service at the Sunset Bar was abysmal, the first night we went there they forgot my pizza I had ordered. The second night we went we were there for 45 minutes without someone even coming to give us water so we left and went to the other restaurant. -1 star for that. We did the night walk tour with a guide who was very knowledgeable; however he touched nesting baby Nightjars on the ground which is not only ILLEGAL in Costa Rica but extremely distressing for the bird who wasn't even old enough to fly away. We did not ask him to do this nor encourage it in any way. This was really disappointing for us as nature lovers and shameful for a resort that has signs everywhere reminding people to respect the environment and nature. -1 star for that as I hope it isn't reflective of everyone who works there. The next day we did a bird watching tour with a different guide who was great and we saw a lot of interesting birds and animals. We then went on the hanging bridges without a guide and saw even more animals such as an anteater. Overall it was a really great experience soured a bit by those two negative experiences.

Superbe ressort très bien équipé avec piscine et restaurant . Chambres chouettes mais mal isolées . Le petit déjeuner en buffet n a pas été à la hauteur ! Les hot springs sont gratuits avec une navette et sont absolument exceptionnels eau chaude et bain de bout ! Le restaurant mirador vaut le coup

Beautiful sunset dinner view. Albert grabbed an extra table and set it out for us when all others were taken or reserved which made for a lovely family experience. The kids would have spent the whole day at the pool if we had let them.

We had an amazing time at Buena Vista Eco lodge. We stayed in the cabins and it was such a clean and cute accommodation. The buffet breakfast was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for more. We ate at both the Jaguar and the Mirador restaurant, the Jaguar had a wider selection and the food was delicious, while the Mirador is lighter fare but with stunning views of the country side and sunset. We did the zipline, the horse riding tour, the bird tour and the night tour. The zipline and horse riding was amazing, I would do it again in a heartbeat. The bird and night tours are lovely, but you have to be realistic in what you may or may not see. The staff in every location: the front desk, all restaurants, the nightour and bird tour guide, and the horseback riding guides are incredible, helpful, friendly, and they make it such a great experience. Be sure to set aside a day for the thermal pools, at first we didn’t realize how immense it was, but definitely worth it!

This place was solid. Food, staff and activities are all perfect for the family. Please note: the food is expensive. The least expensive options are down at the hot springs.

Very nice peoperty. My mountain view cabin was amazing! No view of mountain but there's a great view 2 mins walk away at the Miraflores Restaurant. Rough road getting in. Hotel arranged a taxi for us to the airport in Liberia, $100 US cash. The road conditions are an issue. I personally wouldn't drive my own vehicle on this path. Hotel should get this paved. It’s not an issue that it's gravel per se, the issue is more like how uneven it is and the hilly parts have pot holes that were reminiscent of my atv jungle tour. Included breakfast buffet - but had limited options and food wasn't hot. 4/10 both days. My son opted for cereal and he's not a cereal kid. Fruit was fresh and delicious. If ordering a coffee at one of the restaurants, ask for milk separately. I like a little milk (still mid brown colour but staff adds too much and makes it a light beige. No longer tastes like coffee). Miraflores restaurant used a sad, old pineapple slice for my Pina Colado. Had a perfect one at Jaguar Restaurant (next to reception). Pool is nice but no changeroom/washroom. Closest is at hotel reception. Can easily renovate one of the rooms that's right by the pool. Bar menu at pool is limited and again, without a washroom I wasn't keen to order more than one drink. And only ordered 1 total. Change this "one thing" and sales will increase dramatically

We had a Lakeview room that hadn’t yet been renovated, so while it was clean, it was fairly basic. There was no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan, which was manageable but something to be aware of depending on your comfort level. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible wildlife—we were visited by coatis and howler monkeys, and we also spotted toucans and butterflies around the property. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and really add to the peaceful, natural atmosphere. The pool was also very refreshing and a great place to relax. After a few days, the restaurant options did start to feel a bit repetitive, but it was fine for a shorter stay. We also visited the hot springs, which were beautiful, though be prepared—there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for couples and families looking for a nature-filled getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and I felt safe at all times.

Very nice property. The reception is 2km from the main road up hill. 3 restaurants and complimentary breakfast was good. Basic and fresh. Spa(hot springs) is amazing located in the forest. 25 minutes tractors shuttle on bumpy road to get there. Once you are there, you will have to eat in there restaurant since nothing is close by.

The room is spacious, wifi worked everywhere. Food and service was excellent. I took day pass to do the jungle slide, go ziplinning and horseback, but even without paying the extra you can go on the hanging bridges by yourselves. The hot springs are not on site, it’a a 20 minute bumpy tractor ride to get there, but there is food and drinks at the hot springs. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife

room didn’t have ac but it had a fan and that was suffice. the food wasnt good surprisingly. also got there around 4 pm and the shuttle to go to the hot springs which was the main reason we wanted to stay there stopped going at 3 pm! so we were really bummed about that. on a positive note, it was a beautiful place.

So close to Liberia. Could have grabbed the rental car and gone straight there in the daylight instead of spending the night in Liberia.
