This quickly became my favourite hotel for a stopover while travelling through France. It is a beautiful historic building with a great renovation and a lovely swimming pool. The staff were charming and efficient. I would strongly recommend it.
Good welcome and hospitality at reception with nice welcome gift for our dog and for us
The parc and rooms are great
We would have our best score if the domain would have more far from road and train track
Very sweet hotel. Nice gardens and comfortable rooms. We stayed 2 nights. There’s a spa option. We opted to use it. It comprises of a jacuzzi and a small sauna. We booked for 1 hour (which are allocated slots). I spend 15 minutes in the jacuzzi (one of the jets was broken). We got charged €90 for the usage which bearing in mind the price of the room was over £300 seems ridiculous
Really gorgeous hotel, grounds are very pretty and well kept. Staff were incredibly helpful. The only thing that was missing was there wasn’t a restaurant on site for evening meals. But there was a lovely snack menu and Deauville was 10 mins drive away and has plenty of restaurants.
Would highly recommend.

Le Manoir
Amazing manor in the heart of Calvados country, with many rural must sees in the area including dining out to Michelin standards in Honfleur & Deauville.
Our room was comfortable with an ensuite attached to the large attic room with views to three sides. A swimming pool was available as was massage facility close to the gated entrance and was a good experiences for us. We chose the Manor as it also had good availability when we booked at a reasonable price. The only drawback was an additional charge to my credit card that was mistakenly added without notice. At all times it pays to be vigilant as the whole stay had been paid for months ago on Hotels.com.
The hotel is very beautiful to look at. The (junior) staff are excellent. The breakfast is very good.
But everything appears to be done with a view to appearances. The rooms are newly refurbished but the work has been done cheaply. It won’t last. There was no senior manager on site for much of our stay and the place seemed rudderless. There were occasions when there were no staff to be found. The swimming pool was gated and the gates locked by a mechanism that not one of the guests could master.
Overall, pleasant but not genuinely impressive.
Such a lovely place. Staff were so nice. Quaint converted manor house and sweet cottages on a beautiful property. Added bonus was a refreshing dip in the pool and hot tub after a long day of driving and walking.
There is not much to say. This place is absolutely perfect. We had a private little house. Its very relaxing. The staff is absolutely marvelous. Breakfast is delicious. Will come again.
It's a 5 star building with 3* rooms and staff.
Has such potential to be an incredible destination.
The building and grounds are stunning, but the room we had (#4 in the main building) was very basic for the price.
while you can tell the staff care, and do their best, I feel that some training and less profiteering from the owners would hugely benefit the place.
This would not be classed as a 4* hotel in the UK. I am alarmed that Small Luxury Hotels have them in the group. It is some rooms, with a pool outside in a very pretty garden, but it bears no resemblance to a hotel in terms of service and standards. I have stayed in far superior 2* hotels. It was a hugely disappointing stay.
take your own toiletries, food, and coffee if you do stay. Avoid booking the breakfast and drive somewhere for breakfast instead.
When we arrived, they have prepared the document to sign by me but they wrote details by mistake that I was from Luxembourg in stead of Switzerland and the date of arrival has written one day before. So I made corrections on the paper to sign. Because of their registration was wrong our card key was not functioned. There was bath robes only beside the pool not in the room which was inconvenient to go to the pool. Many service staff for the breakfast but we had coffee and tea late after we finished nearly eating. Otherwise it’s clean but I have disappointed.
