Room with balcony very comfortable. Relax mood all the way. Dogs can run freely in the large garden. Food in the restaurant is good. Breakfast is not included and the coffee is too light for my taste.

Cambutal

It was a super cute room and well decorated. The owner loves art and has some interesting pieces. Very nice sand beach with lots of hammocks on the beach. Several great surfing spots nearby. My one complaint is you cannot get coffee till 7 so I would go next door get coffee and then come back for breakfast. Dinner very good had ceviche and garlic shrimp. If you want great Italian and pizza I recommend boom shiva.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!

We (2 adults & 2 boys, 6 & 8) stayed for 3 nights early January...We had such a fabulous stay!!! The property is AMAZING! The owner Jose is super nice, cool, friendly and speaks English. We had the blue bungalow, which had a double bed in one room and a bunk bed (double bed on the bottom & twin bed on top) for max 3 people in the other room. The bathroom (toilet-shower) is to share between the two bedrooms. Each room has its sink. AC is available. No fridge though. Patio with chairs & table is nice. The included breakfast was delicious and healthy (scrambled eggs, bread pieces with jam & butter, a piece of local cheese, fruit plate & juice). We had lunch there too and it was good. Jose has body-boards and surf boards for rent. We rented the surf (long) board for $25/day or $15/half day. The beach is right there in front of the property. The beach is super super nice and beautiful, AND clean! At low tide, the waves are small and continuous, perfect for learning to body-board or surf. At high tide, the waves are bigger but still safe for my 8- and 6-yrs to play and duct the waves or jump over them. No ripe currents at all. Surfers come at high tide to catch some waves, probably "baby" waves for professionals, but it looks like surfers have fun! Fun to watch them! The property is very clean, well kept by a gardener. Hammock avail. The property is a bit of a drive to get to (no town, no grocery store, etc) but we had an amazing time and wished we could have stayed longer.
