Mekong river er at hyggeligt sted at overnatte væk fra stress og jag. Der er en dejlig pool, restaurant med både morgenmads buffet og aftensmad og vi overnattede i en hel fin hytte ud mod floden. Vi havde et stort badeværelse med alt hvad der skal være. Hotellet er slidt og trænger generelt til en kærlig hånd, men der er pænt og rent og super hyggeligt:) Der er cykler, man kan låne til at køre rundt og se området :)

This place is a gem! Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing ambience, nice pool, and friendly, helpful staff. We relaxed here for a few days after spending time in the cities and towns of the delta, and it was the perfect place to recharge. Bikes too! Highly recommend.

We booked a family room for 6 people thinking that it will be a big room for everyone. But in reality, it’s 2 separate standard rooms next to each other. It is false advertisement. If we had known that it will be just 2 separate rooms, we would not have booked it. The food is terrible, low quality and yet, way overpriced. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. This hotel should only be in the 2*-class at the most!

The hotel arranged for a taxi transfer from the airport which turned out to be twice the price as if we would have booked it ourselves + the driver stopped, entered a gas station and stayed away for ten minutes before returning to the car to sit beside it and smoke and talking on the phone for another ten minutes while the whole family just stayed in the car waiting. The hotel itself was beautiful and staff friendly but I could never recommend it as the F&B (food and beverage) was a complete disaster, expensive and tasteless. We spent over two weeks in Vietnam in total and everywhere we went, the food has been absolutely amazing. I can not understand how this could be so bad on such a nice resort, that even offers cooking lessons! Their chefs needs to take one themselves). They could not even make an omelette (onions, vegetables and eggs not ready, served pretty much cold and raw) the coffee wasn’t warm, the smoothies tasted like nothing and none of the dishes we tried (seafood, beef, chicken, noodles, rice in different combinations) were good - only expensive. The facility is great but you can’t eat or drink anything, unfortunately.

Nice, but nothing fancy

We have mixed feelings about our stay at the Mekong Lodge. The hotel and grounds are quaint, and we got to extensively relax at the bar and by the pool, which was nice after being in loud and busy HCMC. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations, and the sounds of construction filled the air from 730am to 730pm -> not so nice if you intend to take a nap in your room, or eat lunch in the restaurant by the water. If the construction wasn't enough, then the cacaphony of roosters at 4am will remind you that you are in rural Vietnam. The food in the accompany restaurant was average - some dishes were tasty while others were much less appealing. In contrast to lunch and dinner options, the breakfast was great - small bowls of pho, tasty crepes and omelettes, and fresh fruit and juices. We took the boat tour without guide which allowed flexibility to spend as much or as little time at the "artisanal market" and the traditional land market. There were only a few boats in the floating market, which we didn't stop at or board so that was really disappointing (one of the reasons we wanted to come down to the Mekong!). While I enjoyed the row boat through the canals, I was dismayed by the vast amount of plastic garbage that littered it - it's really quite sad (BTW I would happily pay extra to contribute to a fund that cleans up the local waterways - I'm sure many visitors would too!). In summary, mixed experience, but I don't think I would return.

A great spot to enjoy the Mekong River traffic and view the river at all the great times of the day. Highly recommend. Very peaceful. Employees are local young people and are pleasant and enthusiastic

Viel wollen, wenig können. Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Zimmer waren geräumig und sauber. Was uns allerdings überhaupt nicht gefallen hat, war die Tatsache, dass die Lodge sehr viele Gruppenreisen abfertigt und die Individualreisenden dabei deutlich zurück stecken müssen. So wurde das Frühstücksbüffet nur so lange nach bestückt bis die Gruppenreisen auf ihre Tagestouren gingen. Außerdem spricht das Personal bis auf 2 Ausnahmen sehr schlechtes bis gar kein Englisch. Selbst einfachste Fragen zu den Speisen konnten nicht beantwortet werden.

Très bel hôtel agréablement situé pour la visite du marché flottant de Cai Be arrivée en bateau Si vous venez en bus de HCMC l'arrêt du bus est à 5 minutes à pied de l'embarcadère pour l'hôtel Petit traversée du Mekong en bateau pour arriver à l'hôtel Accueil en français - notre guide ayant vécu plusieurs années à Brest Chambre bungalow très agréable, silence garanti, piscine très sympa et ombragée Restauration fabuleuse avec un réel choix de menus (six menus différents; entrée, plat, dessert, thé) prix 240 000 dongs soit 9 euros Excursion d'une matinée pour le marché flottant, le marché terrestre, la fabrication de produits locaux, la balade en sampan avec explications dans notre langue Je recommande cet hôtel si vous désirez visiter Cai Be

Hotel acceuillant avec un personnel à l’ecoute, professionnel et gentil!. Le cadre est magnifique. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Juste un petit bémol concernant le bruit dans certaines chambres de le matin très tôt..
