"I had to wipe out the bathtub because there were black smudges. I don't know what there were. Thankfully, I usually have Lysol wipes. And my toilet at home was cleaner than the one in the hotel room. Behind the bathroom door there were some cobwebs - this implies the rooms are not cleaned consistently.
