Room with a view - what a view

Second time at this hotel and we are going to come back again. Friendly staff, perfect location and a great restaurant. From the balcony and the restaurant you have an amazing view on the lake and the mountains.

What a wonderful hotel, beautiful room with large balcony and what a view. Everything is very clean, great shower and great staff. The restaurant for the evening meal was really really good! We even saw the eclipse from our balcony. Highly recommended!

We had lunch at this hotel 6 years ago and hoped to come back and stay. We were fortunate to stay for 3 nights and had dinner in the restaurant all 3 nights. It appear to be a destination restaurant and we can see why - excellent food and wine list. The room was clean, comfortable and airconditioned - with a spectacular view of Lake Lugano. It is in a small village that is nice to explore.

Great value for your money

The hotel is nice and clean, staff very helpful. Amazing location, the view is spectacular. Breakfast was great, even with gluten free bread (ask for it). Also dinner at the restaurant was very nice, good food and afain, the view. Bed a bit lumpy, pillow firm but this place is great value for your money (we had economy room, so no balcony, unfortunately). We had our two dogs with us. There really isnt any place to walk dogs, but we managed. Would stay here again, thank you!

The view is spectecular. Breakfast was good. Staff do barely speak English and the rooms Are very simple and real small One 11 kW charger but Italians park their fuel cars in front of it so that you might not be able to charge. Other than for the view and dinner I would not go there again

But of a trek to get to, but worth it! Plenty of parking and the staff is very friendly and helpful! There is a restaurant on the property (one of the only ones nearby) that is excellent and the staff will make reservations for your party in advance. The rooftop terrace has a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding city, and the provided breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip through Italy! The amenities are basic and be careful about opening the windows at night (there is no screen and the mosquitoes can be bad) but the bed was comfortable and the area is very quiet at night! Overall lovely experience and would definitely stay again!

Fantastic view and excellent dinning

We stayed two nights at this wonderful hotel. It is placed high above Lago Lugano with the most fantastic view - be sure to book a room with a view to the lake. We had all our meals in the restaurant which offers the same view both inside and at the large terrace, which can be covered if the weather require that. The menu offered a nice variation of meat, fish and vegetables delivered with a smile and friendly service. Our labrador was welcome both in our room and in the restaurant - and at no extra cost, which is unusual. Be sure to take a walk up the mountain via the road behind the town - good place for walking the dog (pretty steep - but what a view). All in all at place to return to.

Area around hotel is the best thing over there despite the hotel condition Rooms is outdated, ac is not working So you have to open windows but as soon as you opened windows you have to deal with huge mosquitoes instead of a good sleep i was fighting with those mosquitoes hotel supposed to do something with that cause that what I’m paying for at least to sleep well so next day i can continue with my trip The other issue was the smell of room that i have been given it’s smells very bad like it’s been a prostitutes room before Otherwise it’s perfect location with amazing views around

The rooms were clean, the staff was great and helpful. The reception staff had to stay late as we were on our way from Venice and things got delayed but she was very helpful. The view from the room was amazing.
