"Arrived late amd had recd an email with the door code, and told where my room key could be found. No staff at the premises until cleaners arrived next morning.
Room was average size, no frills, bed was comfortable, no spare electric sockets except one by the bathroom door, no good if you were in bed. One soap dispensor at the wash basin. Only person I saw at the property was Gloria who prepared the rooms. Location was midway between station and centre.
"
"The property itself was ok. Bed was comfortable, close to the local attractions. The turnoff for us was the fact that the room was 29 degrees Celsius and the air conditioner didn't work. We went to the front desk and explained this to the gentleman and he said that the air conditioners don't work. I asked if they worked in any room and he said no. Given, each room has a mini-split system so there's no reason for them to not work other than they don't want them to work. I asked him if he could then it on in our room and he looked at his computer then came back about a minute later and said no, he wouldn't turn it on for us. So, there you are, hotel is nice, location is nice, but the place certainly isn't comfortable and the front desk did not want to take appropriate action to address this. "
