Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). "Well this was a surprise! I thought we were coming to a country pub, and it turned out to be a mansion originally owned by French royalty and taken over by the BBC during World War II. It was a bit tricky to find, once we had turned into the driveway, as it was hidden behind new housing, but we tracked it down. It was quite delightful."
