"We did not order anything from the menu so cannot comment on that. However the condition of the rooms, size of the rooms for 3 adults was wonderful. Great kitchen with frypan, pots and a small oven/hotplate unit for cooking. Each unit has a small private outdoor table and chair set. There is a free laundry which was great as we had small children. There is a children's play area, beautiful grounds and the place was so handy to the airport and the northern part of Christchurch. "The rooms while small are new, clean and tidy and we’ll looked after the issue is the noise, mostly from other long term guests who have apparently settled there, arguments, drunken fight, swearing all night all through the night, it ended with someone trying to kill themselves, 3 police cars and ambulance at 5 am I would never set foot there again if you paid me to be there, and that was the advice from police officers when I was eventually allowed to escape through the cordon "
