Arbutus Inn
It's a comfortable place to stay for the price. It's in a business district so not a lot around. That being said, Chinatown is a 20 minute walk, there's a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It's pretty basic, no coffee in the lobby. I definitely would stay again especially for the price.

The great room space was a good option for extra space. The breakfast had some options. Loved the coffee machine.

The Vic, an Ascend Collection Hotel
Lovely hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. Cleaning staff were underwhelming. Glasses in the room had lip prints on them, I stayed for 9 days and only once did they make the bed. They basically exchanged towels with me at the door of my room. I cleaned my own room during my stay.
