"Great location, hotel is definitely run down and maybe under staffed?
Pool was not taken care of, kinda dirty
Rooms are okay , called 3 times for towels , no one ever came
Called in the morning again and no one ever came
Great place, needs a little TLC"
"The staff here were very nice, from check in to check out. Our room was a nice size with 2 queen beds and a couch. It wasn’t the most well maintained, as the curtains were falling off the ceiling and some of the lightbulbs were burnt out and needing replacement. But overall the room was clean and decently comfortable! Breakfast was a basic, hotel style breakfast. What you should expect from a chain hotel. Overall, for the price we paid compared to other hotels in the area, our stay was a 7.5/10."
"Our stay at Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva was very enjoyable overall. The hotel's location is outstanding, the property is well maintained, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming.
The only disappointment during our stay involved the attached dining options.
On Friday evening, we decided to try Emmi's Lake Geneva. We were greeted by a lovely hostess, but the dining room felt surprisingly sparse and uninviting. Several loud patrons at the bar dominated the atmosphere, making it uncomfortable for what we had hoped would be a relaxing lakeside dinner. We chose to leave before ordering, so I cannot comment on the food itself.
The next morning, we visited Gotham Bagels and Eats for breakfast. Despite having plenty of staff on duty, service was surprisingly slow for a counter-service operation. The food was fine, but the wait time and overall efficiency did not meet expectations.
That said, Harbor Shores itself was excellent. The accommodations, location, and staff made for a pleasant stay, and I would recommend the hotel. Improving the dining experience at Emmi's and Gotham Bagels would bring the restaurants up to the same standard as the hotel."
"The Lodge was under construction when we stayed there so it was a little dusty - mainly outdoors.
My room was just off the lobby. The noise from the lobby overflowed to my room until they closed the fire doors. I would recommend they close them earlier ~ 9 pm."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Milwaukee West (Brookfield), WI
6/10 Okay
"I picked this hotel specifically to enjoy the hot tub after a long day of funeral services. Unfortunately, the hot tub jets were not working. After sitting in the warm hot tub, we quickly noticed all the dead skin floating in the water. Super bummed that we didn't get the relaxation after our long, emotional day we were hoping for. For the price of our room ($250+) I would expect these types of amenities to be working appropriately."
