"Such an incredible place. Rooms are roomy and beautifully put together. There are two separate resort areas, where the one we stayed in was more charming and had better views. It is located closer to the restaurant than the other resort area. Wooden boardwalks connect the rooms with beautiful jungle and river views. Restaurant food is delicious, not a huge menu, but some great local Belizean options.
Would recommend staying here if you are exploring the area, caves and Mayan ruins are an easy...

"Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about...

"I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc.
I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again."
