"I'll start with the a positive as the view was great The cottage was listed for up to 4 people but so small. A table for 2 only in the bedroom AC only in 1 room and unable to leave screen door open for breeze as screen broken Only heavy duvet on bed in 2nd room, no AC so crazy hot Kitchen crazy small Host unable to speak English so unable to ask any questions nor tell him shower head fell apart so not even able to shower Not even counting how he opened door as we brought our things in after I had closed it letting in multiple mosquitoes So hot and buggy and no shower or communication Thank God it was only 1 night!"

"The location is the best feature of this property. Unfortunately, the hotel itself and the guest rooms felt quite dated and in need of renovation. The patio furniture cushions were heavily worn and had lost most of their support, making them uncomfortable to use. We also experienced an issue with our bathroom door, which became stuck whenever it was closed and required significant force to reopen. During our stay, there was a wedding event and several groups of golfers staying at the property. The noise level was excessive, with loud conversations and disruptive behavior continuing until around 2:00 AM, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very friendly and professional, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient."

"When calling the front desk, no answer or response after leaving voice mail. We had to go to the front desk to actually to get service. Wifi didn't work. Washroom was damp and had poor ventilation. Expensive for what we got. Restaurant not open on Tuesdays and only 1 other option available in vicinity."

"The room was cozy and very clean with views of the lake. The restaurants have excellent food and drinks with very attentive staff, also the lobby bar is a great place to chill for a night time cocktail. The grounds are gorgeous and was able to spend a relaxing day at the pool. The Windermere is a wonderful get away and all staff are extremely helpful, we shall be back."
