Hotel Dekat Bukit Punthuk Setumbu

"Staff was well trained, attentive and helpful in all areas. The property was well maintained. The villas were beautiful inside and out. The pool by the central or main building was not useful given close proximity to restaurant. The second pool was better placed. Overall, the location, staff, and property was as advertised. I highly recommend this hotel."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Plataran Hotel in Yogyakarta and felt that I received excellent value for my money. My room was comfortable, well maintained, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the variety of dining options available. "Best location in the area, 20' away from the Setumbu Punthuk point of view (sunrise). Amazing view over the hills and a very nice infinity pool and terace. The only negative point was the work in progress but it's for the best : more tourists will bé able to enjoy of this beautiful hotel in the future."

"Excellent place nice and convenient walk 2 to 5 min to shops and food outlets, 5 min walk to main street and 30 min walk or 5 min drive to Borrobodur temple, homestay mum are the best, gave us discount for the rooms and provided tea, coffee suger and snacks, fruits on the first day that lasted a week of our stay. Invited us for dinner lunch and a few nasi goreng breakfast meals in the morning which is the best."

The family that manages the hotel can provide you transports to Borobudur temple and wherever you want. I recommend you the sunrise at the hill Punthuk Setumbu as much as temple's visit. Don't expect a luxury way of life, just the experience of a real javanese daily life. A translator or guide, if you don't speak indonesian bahasa, is totally needed. Highly...
