Hotel Dekat Buck and Doe Mountain

"Very limited selection for breakfast"

"Nothing unique. Living room sofa needs replacing."

"Great stay,we stayed one day on our way to stay at our main vacation point. This was a great stopover, for rest and relaxation . The room was clean , the staff was nice and professional. Overall the property was a great safe place for my wife and I to stay the night. We enjoyed the stay so much , we booked another 1 night stay on our return home over a week later and still the same testimony. Clean, professional staff, and a safe place to stay the night and refresh for the return home. 2 thumbs...

"We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home on a mountain. It was a little far from downtown Roanoke, about 20 minutes. Peter and his wife were filling in for the owners. They were pleasant and helpful. Peter’s breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a nice seating area. Overall a wonderful choice."

"Beautiful stay. Regency Room food was great!"

"We had a great experience. We would definitely choose you again."

"Loved the rich character and history of the hotel and city."

"I stay at Hampton Inns a lot. I was very disappointed with this one. Breakfast was not good either morning (2 night stay) and to top it off, they had no regular cream for coffee this morning. That’s poor planning and not caring. Also, shower head was pointed towards the back wall and could not be adjusted away. You had to lean into the wall to get the water. Probably something you can deal with but the grab bar was right where the water came down. I know why they did it so that water would not...

"Staff was exceptional; room was clean but smelled of cigarette smoke which I reported to management to ensure I wasn’t blamed. The food was excellent!"

"I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels over the years working construction. This hotel was horrible, extremely dirty, just gross place. Definitely not worth the 100.00 dollars just because it's by a lake. Just avoid this place. Very dirty."

"The room and the whole property were very dirty. There were stains on towels and sheets. The bathroom was moldy. Also you can literally hear every single car that drives by because the walls are made of paper. Stay somewhere else. There are so many better options in Roanoke. The staff was very nice though."
