The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. It is perfect for a stay before/after a flight from/to Otopeni airport. However, the transportation in the area is pretty limited and the dining options are limited too.

What was good: clean, wifi, friendly staff. What was bad: a very small room without ventilation or working AC, very hot, if you open the window - noisy highway, can't sleep. It's like a 2-3* motel, I expected better comfort when you pay ~100$ per night.

Bucharest airport stay. 1-night

Great friendly staff, front desk, dinner, breakfast, and housekeeping staff. Very limited options for restaurants nearby, so we ate at the hotel restaurant. Food was very good. Cheeseburger was absolutely delicious and risotto was also very good. Only downside is on the front of hotel is main highway into Bucharest from north with lots of traffic noise and on the north side is airport runway with planes landing day and night. Noise is muted if window is closed, but if you open window to cool room (AC is turned off this time of the year), lots of noise.

A lovely place with very friendly staff

We were in Constanta for a wedding at decided to stay at Hotel Plonge, which we didn´t regret at all! We would have loved to stay more days. Amazing seaview with ducks and swans, both from our room but also at dinnertime. Lovely food in the restaurant, very friendly staff, clean - we have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay there. Some of the floors are under reconstruction after what we figured out, but even there, we didn´t heard any noise at all. It was really a lovely stay, relaxing, and it is a place that we, without no doubt, would be happy to return to. We can highly recommend it to others.

Worth the money

Had stayed at this hotel in 2023, hence the reason I booked it again. Very conveniently located near the airport, a short 20-25 min walk from Arrivals, provided one does not have any mobility issues or more than a carry on suitcase. There is now a charge of 5 Euro per person for shuttle service to the airport. Just let front desk know what time you need the ride upon check in (shuttle leaves at the top of the hour from hotel) Room was clean and AC worked. Some noise from aircraft but nothing bothersome. Good breakfast buffet. Kudos to staff for making sure food was replenished as needed and tables were clean.

Very surprised about hotel IBIS STYLE OTOPENI. It was a modern style, large bedroom, stylish and clean with shower in the bathroom and also you have a safe in the hallway... the breakfast was good with many options of food and very clean ... the service was amazing, and all the request were done right away... the hotel wasn't far away from the airport, but you couldn't walk at all due to the busy traffic and missing side walk... the hotel will provide you with a shuttle bus for a charge of eur 5 and you can reach in 4' to the airport , which makes your travel easy and convenient.... I will use this hotel in the future...

It’s much better than the IBIS Bucharest City Centre Hotel where we’ve lived there for 3 nights in all aspects.It’s a 15 minute walk from the airport terminal so it’s perfect for passengers to lodge in one day before early morning departure.But if you come for a few days sightseeing,it’s not convenient to or back from the Old Town.
