"Location was amazing, very central. Close to the centre, everywhere walkable within minutes. The hotel itself is lovely and quiet even though it is close the centre. The bar prices are reasonable in comparison to the rest of Brugge. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and spacious. Shower was great. It's a very old building as expected but excellently maintain, with the building being that old the rooms are in a bizarre layout, to get to our room (093) it was up and down stairs and 2 lifts, very strange but when we finally got to our room and unpacked, there was an exit right outside our room door, leading to an alleyway, leading to another door straight out on to the street, so this was brilliant. Access was then so easy. I would stay here again. We didn't try the breakfast as we only stayed for 3 nights and wanted to explore different places."

"The property was generally clean, the location for commute to Bruges is good and check-in was fairly easy. But other then that I feel what we paid for it, we didn't get value for money. The bedding was not done, I did see some comms about it but I couldn't imagine it literally means we would have to go and do the bedding ourself, unacceptable. Not toiletries, again saw some comms about it but thought at least they will have hand wash, but no, I guess expected too much. There were marks on mattress in kids room so my son refuses to sleep on that bed, which I agree, so he slept on the sofa. The kids bed room flet like they have fitted beds in a wardrobe, I felt uncomfortable just looking at it. About Check-out, who thought that check-out at 10am is acceptable? I am on a holiday, I don't wish to rush in the morning, so why should we expect to check-out at 10am. I understand house keeping issues but the check-out should atleast be at 11am. I paid for a day, there are 24hrs in a day but you expect me to check-in at 3pm and check-out at 10am that's not a full day, again I understand house keeping issues but you don't need 5 hours to clean one room. When asked they expected us to pay over €30 for just an hours, sorry but ridiculous and unacceptable. Finally, the entrance to basement parking I felt was dangerous, I have an SUV and thank god we didn't park there or I would have damaged my car. So overall not great for us, will not book this place ever again."
