"Our room was very clean, well-appointed, and very big."

"The room I had was clean and adequately furnished but the AC unit below the window was so loud at even the lowest fan setting that I had trouble falling and staying asleep. The selections in the breakfast room were minimal and the scrambled eggs I had on the first day were rubbery and tasteless. The coffee was also bland and tasteless. "Absolutely everything about this hotel is quaint, clean and excellent service! Shelly, front desk was so genuine and helpful. The coffee shop has the right amenities to eat/breakfast/lunch/snacks… Even cocktails and the best coffees in town they serve too. Parking is a breeze… They even leave you two deliciouschocolate chip cookies on your door… Fabulous place to stay, We would return. Much appreciated, Connie & Tim McGuire"

"We cannot tell you how wonderful our experience was! The highlight had to be the concern of the owner and staff for our comfort. So appreciated. Related to the inn itself, everything was perfect! The location, the parking, the size and cleanliness of the room, the amenities, the furnishings, the bathroom, and the...(trumpets!!)... front porch, were all so pleasant! A very memorable stay!"

Just wish this would have been disclosed on the website prior. Not that the staff can help what is being done in rooms, but for the first two days of our stay, the entire floor reeked of marijuana- which is not a great problem to encounter when you are traveling with 3 young kids. "Signs in the room indicate that housekeeping would provide services every other day. They never entered our room. The woman at the front desk just said “I don’t control why they don’t do their job” when asked about it. This was the same woman who was talking on her cell speaker when we arrived to check in. We were treated like we were a major interruption. Otherwise the room was fine."
