"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). Top Broadwoodkelly Hotel Reviews

The Royal Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"we booked last minute and didnt have any expectations but as we walked along the SW Coastal path and suddenly spotted the hotel we knew it was going to be good and it was even better Lovely staff, food and rooms and hot baths."

The Cedars Inn by Greene King Inns

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed for one night en route to a North Devon holiday. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and well laid out. A very comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Bathroom even had a bath. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice all freshly cooked. Plenty of easy parking and outdoor space. Definitely worth staying and would do so again."

The Barnstaple Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The shower was amazing and after walking a big section of the SWCP it was very welcomed. Sadly we ran out of puff to enjoy the pool (indoor and outside). The ability to park and leave vehicles there was an added benefit. The bar menu offered great choices, and the breakfast was a pleasant treat. I would deffo recommend and be more than happy to return next time I am in the area."
