"We enjoyed our stay. We were in the back building the Walker building (I think) surprisingly quiet and did not hear other quests in hallways or near us. Limited parking when the restaurant is open . But we moved the car closer when it closed. Continental breakfast available at yhe Inn for a charge. "Lovely hotel ( looks more like condos) on the edge of town surrounded by trees and green. Staff was very helpful and available early and late. We had a suite (highly recommend). Very cute town, good restaurants, farmers market on Saturday. We took the train from Rutland to NYC. It was a 2 hour drive from Albany."

"The mansion is beautiful and the room (hotel side) was clean, but the property was not maintained. My reservation was for Friday thru Monday which you would think being a weekend there would be guests staying. I believe I was one of three. It felt deserted/abandoned. I saw one staff member my whole stay. There were no amenities, not even an ice machine. I checked out a day early because I was just not comfortable. It felt like a scene from a horror movie. Very disappointing. So much potential."
