"BED BUGS!
I took a live bug to them in a cup and we got bit. My wife got it way worse. We shortened our stay to get away from there.
The hotel nor the company that handles there issues (Sedgwick) has done nothing. They won’t even acknowledged it was a bed bug. So I take them a live bug, send them pictures of the other bugs found in the room, send pics of the bite marks on our body, and all they did was send a letter saying they don’t accept responsibility.
Supposedly they called pest...

"The staff were excellent. The room was clean but showing signs of age. Also instead of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower there were three shampoos. The hot tub didn’t work. The small pool was crowded with kids which isn’t really a complaint but more so an observation. The gym is small but got the job done however one of the treadmills didn’t work at all. When I paid in the app it said it included their breakfast but when I checked in they said it did not. "

"The website claimed a "view." There was a "view," of the parking lot and the Atlantic Ocean some 200 to 300 yards away. The front desk clerk informed me that i should have been more attentive and selected "ocean view." Ooops, my bad.

"Noisy traffic, people banging on doors after midnight. Toilet needs caulking so to give it a cleaner look. Dark carpet gives it a dirty feel. Bulbs dont give enough light and good cover for any bugs. Roach stickers on wall to confirm other travelers that bugs are present.
The refund fees is overwritten by hotels policy. No options available so we paid the fee that should be refunded based on none existance. Staff not friendly and gave me the room key and announce room number with other...

"I grew up in Virginia Beach and always wanted to stay here after it was built. What a waste of space! The room we were given faced a parking lot, out toilet didn’t work- my husband had to fix it, we ran out of soap and when we asked for more they just put a bottle I. Our room and not set it up in the shower. We asked them to freshen up the room. They only made up one of the two beds and didn’t do the next day. Never again! "

"Loved this place! I'm kind of picky about hotels. I can't stand a dirty smelly place. This place was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in it for a few days before heading to a family gathering. Then we booked it again for a night before leaving town. The second stay I guess I booked a room that was the last king bed and happened to be the handicap accessible corner room. It was way big and explained the slightly higher price. Even though a paid a little more it was a very restful sleep...

"When you first arrived, it was very clean and nice. The lady at the front desk who ran the office was very rude. Then when I got to my room, my room had a terrible stale cigarette odor. There were stains all over the carpet. It really was not clean very old and worn. I also did not have a shower curtain in my bathroom and I asked for one from hose keep ( who was very nice and helpful)
But I received a tore up shower curtain. This property can do much better. I’ve never stayed somewhere like...
