"The room was clean. The kitchen was dated, and in need of an update. The property overall was a safe except for a few wandering people that I couldn't tell if they were staying there or not. The property was clean. "

"Staff were okay and rooms were okay but the surrounding area is a warzone, people screaming all night and there were several long term residents that ran around the hotel like it was their apartment complex. Overpriced for the dump that it is, stay elsewhere!"

"I checked in and out within 20 minutes. I have never felt so unsafe in my life. The building was dirty and smelled like smoke. The room did not look like the images and was in a bad area. The main reason I left was because of the men wandering the outside halls screaming. The only good thing about this place is the woman at the front desk. She was so kind about my bad experience and did everything she could to make sure I was put in contact with the right people for a refund. Really hoping...

"Staff were really nice. Breakfast had some Good options. We chose this place because of the proximity to Red Rocks. Didn’t use the pool because it did not look clean. The seating area outside was nice. Would stay again"

"When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. It took 15 minutes and a phone call to the corporate office for someone to show up. She was out in the parking lot cleaning up glass. In her defense, she can't be in two places at the same time. There should have been a second staff member on the property to assist with maintenance issues. "I loved Christine, the gal who checked me in. I was assigned I think the best room in the building. Everything was perfect. Everything. The breakfast was beyond perfect. Something for everyone and the coffee was excellent. I’ll return ASAP. I loved the spacious large comfy room. The heater was wonderful too as I got wet and cold attending an outdoor Red Rocks amphitheater concert and it rained. Thank you for being there when I needed a place to stay in Lakewood CO. I’ll be back. GV."

"The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fare, and I liked the little chocolate chip muffins. The hotel was super convenient for a stay after a show at Red Rocks, and there was a Dennys just across the street open 24 hrs for late night munchies. I would stay here again."

"What a cool place! Great fossil collection and library feel to the lobby. Rooms are very nice."

"The renovation is very annoying and noisy. Checked in, could not get a nap in to do carpet, stripping and trim work being done in my area of the hotel. In addition, some kind of backup in the plumbing caused a backflow of what I can only describe as something into the sink in the vanity."
