Good value hotel.

Hotel was in good location to walk into town. Room was good size, comfortable bed clean. Good parking outside the hotel. Good value for money. Unfortunately my stay there was spoilt by some very noisy neighbours who arrived back at about 1.30am and continued to make a noise for sbout 2 hours.

Great base to visit the Monastery a quick walk away. The room on the smaller side was the typical Ibis room, a no fuss convenient place to sleep, There was plenty of parking and the room was very quiet. The restaurant was not open at night during the weekend but the very pleasant receptionist provided recommendations. Good buffet breakfast. I would recommend the Ibis as a good value for money.

Small rooms

Hit and miss w the rooms. We were traveling w our family and had 2 rooms. One was cleaner and smelled better than the other. Rooms are very small. Good for an overnight stay on road trip but nothing more. Front desk were very nice and helpful. Good proximity to carrefour.

All good although I was a bit surprised the breakfast lady declined to make any more scrambled eggs and bacon. I arrived at breakfast at 9am and there was no eggs and bacon left.

Cold

Cold is the first thing that comes to mind… Heating in the room is blocked at 22 degrees Celsius. Bathroom has no heating and it is very cold in there. Staff suggest to keep bathroom door open to have warmer air flow in there. Unfortunately cleaning staff closes the bathroom door when they clean the room, despite front desk instructions. I stayed in the upgraded rooms, small but quite clean with pvc on the floor. I paid 3 nights up front, so i stayed. Would have left after 1 night if i had not paid in advance because i was freezing while working on my laptop.
