"Such a fantastic stay. Room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a lively street. It can get loud at night (Thursday-Saturday) but adds to the charm of Pietermaai. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and easy to walk to Punda and Otrabanda. Enjoyed having the pool to cool down after long days in the heat."

"We had a wonderful stay at Bijblauw. The sea view was beautiful and the decor was lovely. The building has lots of character to it. The staff were lovely and really helpful when we had issues and sorted them very quickly. Lotte was particularly great. They made our stay extra special for our honeymoon. "Overall, I had a really excellent week's stay. A great room and balcony, well appointed furnishings and bathroom -- just as described. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The two hotel restaurants I visited, ZOH and Mar y Tierra, were very good and far better than other places where I ate. The hotel is downtown, sometimes a little noisy at night, as you would expect, but very bearable. In short, I was totally pleased with everything."
