"When I first checked in there were facial hairs (I think) all over the sink. First night my heater kicked on at 1:30 am and sounded like a semi starting. The next day I went to report it and get an extra room key but no one was at the front desk until after noon. The second day I needed some coffee for my room but again, at 7:00 pm, no one at the desk or available. The staff that I did speak with was nice enough. All of the issues I had seemed to be poor management. Proper staffing and quality control processes would have made the stay much better. "

"Although Expedia says that the reservation can be canceled up to several days before; after booking, I was emailed a long contract to be signed. In it, it states that cancellation can only be made 30 days ahead of time, no matter what the 3rd party says. Everything was done electronically - no office on site. Two pluses - nice memory foam mattress & a very nice breakfast."

"Great place to stay outside Capitol Reef. Rooms were clean and it was very quiet. Ate at the restaurant and they were able to accommodate Celiac and it was very yummy! Overall very cute vibes, would stay again!"

"Clean, comfortable, quiet. Comfortable beds, pillows could be larger and firmer for my preference, but still comfortable. Spacious bathroom with sufficient counter space. Lobby is welcoming and pleasant, and breakfast is better than chain hotels--in particular, the ready-to-make Belgian waffles were excellent. Would stay here again when I return to Escalante in the future. Great home base for Grand Staircase National Monument area. "
