The front desk clerk Jeremiah seemed to not really care about my concerns. I arrived promptly at 3 PM, just in case there were any issues with the room. I have had a few bad experiences at Best Western properties. I wanted to give Best Western another chance. The room I paid for was a king, upon arrival at the door to my room, I heard the people next door speaking loudly and TV was loud. I wanted a nice quiet place to stay. I went back down to ask for a different room assignment. Jeremiah told me they were completely booked and because I had gone in the room they had no other kings to offer. I was so tired and did not want to argue with this Jeremiah so I started back up to the room. At the elevator, I realized I paid for a quiet place and deserve that so I went back to desk. He had told me he would be happy to contact the people in the room next door. I was appalled. The last thing I want to do is ruin someone else’s visit by complaining. I just wanted a quiet room. He then assigned me a two double bed room. What could I do, my reservation was prepaid and he offered me no discount or refund or even money back. This room was disgusting, the room smelled of mold, the carpet was crunchy, and the toilet was seated cooked. When you sat you leaned left. I told Jeremiah this and he basically said I was lying, because he said they would not rent out a room like that. I have included pictures.Also, the pool and hot tub were visibly filthy.
