I was overcharged $277. 00. When I reached out to the owner he never responded. I asked when he charged it upon arrival and he said I don’t know how much you were supposed to pay them.
Masood himself was very kind and attentive; however, parking is a major issue. If you leave for the day, you will likely lose your spot. And it doesn’t seem to matter to anyone. Stayed in a trailer that was unleveled, making it very uncomfortable. We were locked out of our trailer upon returning from a day of exploring, as the locking mechanism had broke, leaving us with one escape door in the trailer, which felt uneasy.
The Ameer room was cozy like a mountain cabin. We had ducks and geese and a lovely creek below us. Cute little phone booths with coffee makers and fixings. This was all tucked into a nice forest. Only complaint was very poor water pressure in the shower. This is not a fancy hotel, please don't come here expecting that. It is a cozy retreat and all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay again.
I loved the cabin. It was fun and beautiful spot. Loved the coffee station in an old phone booth! Very creative. Friendly staff and other guests. Downside were the twin mattresses and the smell coming from septic tank.
Hope to visit again.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Beautiful setting. The host was kind. We would definitely like to stay again but in one of the cabins. The RV was very nice to stay in but the price was rather high (though fair for the area during tourist season). The hot water capacity means you can have a five minute warm shower tops.
This is an amazing place to stay with family. The river is a super nice spot! We just loved the place and definitely will be back soon!

The shower was very scary, it was dark and the knob for the hot water was extremely hot when in use. For a three night stay, my family only showered once. There were cobwebs in the bedroom corners and the kitchen had a lot of old grease splatters on the wall.

This was a cute camping trip and everyone was so friendly. We’ve had a couple safety concerns about the lodge itself. A coded padlock was the only access inside, the code should not be easily guessed as this was. The door frame was broken allowing access to outside critters inside (we blocked it during our stay) and we assumed that a “welcome” plank was placed in a very unusual spot in the ceiling to cover up a hole of some kind. But, we had a quiet, peaceful stay. With a small walk, we found a creek with ducks swimming around. My daughter enjoyed this lodge.
Beautiful spot on the river, with access. Easy walk to downtown. The owner was very nice and available. My only "complaint" is that the shower was a little small
Room was clean. Only positive. Parking was atrocious, water pressure in sink and shower almost non existent, no hot water in sink, half of the lights did not work and you have to shower almost completely in the dark. Speaking of shower, the provided shampoo and conditioner were bottles similar to suave like they were bought at Walmart, just sitting in the bottom of the shower. Extremely unsanitary. Who knows what the previous person left in/on them. The tv had multiple remotes and was a pain in the ass to use.
We just needed the room for a night. That wasn’t enough. The room was so beautiful and we really wish we had occasion to stay longer. We will plan another visit and stay longer, absolutely.
