"This place was a real surprise. The apartment was spacious and a refreshing change to staying in a hotel room. It had a balcony overlooking the main road and the waterfront perfect to watch the world go by in comfort. It is rustic in keeping with the building but nicely decorated. A great find!"

"I wish I could give this place minus. Avoid if u are traveling alone or generally are a woman. Or if u are a breathing human being. The receptionist came to my room by false pretense there was water problem at 23:00 and made advances. I asked him to leave, he said sorry but it was too late. I was shocked and pissed. Packed my things and left the hotel the morning after. Contacted hotels,com to complain,and now the person says i was the one making advances. Unbelievable, i guess as a woman i...

"The hotel is like a step back in time in Paris. The staff are very welcoming and it is a grand old building. The location is ideal to see the many sights."

"It’s a beautiful spot with an amazing view and amenities. It’s perfect if you are looking for a cute getaway. The service was incredible. The one flaw was the spotty wifi and how far the location is from tourist spots In Alexandria. All in All gorgeous. "

"This location is about a 20 minute walk to the sea coast. The walk offers a lot to take in within old Alexandria. The location itself is safe, the front desk is excellent, and is welcoming. I would recommend this location for an adventure seeking travelers."

"The reception was a huge problem. They didn’t have my reservation anywhere. I had to wait for over an hour and call Expedia support to get my room. The room was clean and it had a wonderful view. The place was extremely overcrowded. The pool water was filthy. The pool bathrooms were filthy and the beach was absolutely disgusting, totally filled with trash. "
