I used to be in hotels. so here goes: The property obviously has seen better days. Updates are drastically needed. Microwaves in each room are the norm these days. Our room was small and didn't have a tub, which disappointed my wife, but I used the hot tub which was outstanding. But our room had an OUTSTANDING view of the harbor, which made up for the faults. The upstairs deck was also outstanding and overlooked the harbor. I didn't mind the size of the room, as I didn't intend to stay in the room mush on our trip. The lady on the front desk, whose name I don't remember, was also OUTSTANDING. She was lovely. Answered all my typical tourist questions and was there every time we called, which was only twice. Again, the only suggestion I have is rooms need some renovating. Other than that, we had a great trip and would probably stay at Tugboat again for its accessibility and the views.

The Tugboat Inn was a little outdated. The bed was comfortable. The door and lock did not work well, had to move key a lot to get it to unlock. The fan in the room made noise. Check-in was difficult as the place you check-in is at another motel and it is not obvious where you need to go to do this. For the price it was the best option for a one night stay.

It was in a good area but the room itself was just so old and felt dirty, the carpet was disgustingly filthy and looked like it had probably never been cleaned. I wanted to love it because there was a nice view but we couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning.
