Our room was small, no private toilet or shower and no TV. The building looked tatty, there were holes in the carpet up the stairs. However our evening meal there was very good and the staff were friendly.
Friendly staff and a charming traditional country pub atmosphere.

The staff were lovely and helpful to us told us a bit about the area where we were staying, the food was great. The room we stayed in was a little small but was good. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Traditional pub. Friendly. Great food. Good coffee.
A beautiful, well appointed, historic country Hotel. Period features well preserved and maintained throughout. Staff accommodating, and genuine. Food was incredible ... you have to try the meatballs!
Great affordable pub location for solo traveller passing through town. Staff friendly, nice restaurant. Guinness on tap. Quaint bakery across the road.

handy location, the downside is a bit noisy at night - near the big road
Really liked the room. While very basic it was clean and comfy. We loved the old pub and the atmosphere, and the cost of the room was very reasonable. Unlike other pubs with over inflated prices. We felt it was good value for money.
Awesome little spot. There were so long term tennants who looked like workers from out of tiwn who were up early, but otherwise quiet. I had a room on the balcony and wasnt bothered by the noise coming from the pub at all.
Great spot for a pint and dinner too!
We have travelled through here many times and always call in to this hotel. Hospitality is always 100%. Food is always excellent value and tastes amazing. Never stayed overnight until this trip and found it to be excellent value for money, interesting set up as in we had to go out onto verandah to access our room and again to access our bathroom and toilet. Water pressure for the shower not the best, but was hot. Plenty of tea coffee, juice, bread and cereal available which is included in the price. Yes we would stay again

Its a very old pub, from another time. Quite picturesque.
Great meals in the dinning room, and rather interesting breakfast arrangement on the closed in verandah.
Our bathroom was at the end of the other verandah, not really the greatest thing on a cold night.
Our room was lovely

Australian experience
It was a nice experience staying in an Australian Hotel overnight. The restaurant downstairs was very good, ‚city life‘ happens here and sitting after dinner and for breakfast on the upstairs terrace is really nice… it‘s sheep shearing time so all of them stayed there as well

Staffs and services are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Toilets was a bit inconvenient because I have to go outside to get to the ladies bathroom. Staying at Pub accommodations would be noisy which can not be helped. Overall, I would rate 5 stars for staffs and services 😊

This is a Pub with accommodation. Friendly staff. It's a quiet and decent place to stay. The town is also quiet at night with no loud noises that distract one's sleep.
If you need a place to stop over for the night or to stay for a few nights and enjoy the town then stay at this place.
It has a Cafe on the ground floor that serves good quality meals for a decent price.
When I arrived, there were quiet a few patrons enjoying a drink and a meal and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. There is something unique and historical about Pubs such as this one.
There was a light breakfast included in the room rate which was nice to see.
This is a place that I would stay at again.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Boorowa Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The team reached out to confirm our check-in time and stayed up late to greet us with warm smiles, ensuring we had seamless access to our room. The room itself was a delightful blend of vintage charm and bright, colorful decor—so beautifully done and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable; we even slept through our alarm! Thankfully, the morning team was kind enough to give us extra time to pack up, which we truly appreciated.
The shower was fantastic, and the breakfast corner had everything we needed. Although there was a minor issue with a leaky rooftop due to heavy rain, the staff was attentive when we pointed it out.
One of the highlights of our stay was the downstairs café. The Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had! The whimsical dog-themed decor added so much charm, and the owner’s friendly chat about their café, their dog, and local orchard recommendations made us feel right at home.
We can’t wait to return to this lovely small town and stay here again. Highly recommend for a cozy, welcoming experience!
